On Sunday 2 March 2025, Piazza San Lorenzo will become the beating heart of Salute in Comune, an initiative open to young women resident in the municipal area of Vicenza. Specialised medical staff will perform completely free breast examinations using Mobile Clinics equipped with state-of-the-art ultrasound and mammography machines.

Among the supporters is L.E.G.O., who are proud to demonstrate their commitment to the health and well-being of the local community. Their involvement highlights the link between the company and the local area and reinforces the message that early diagnosis is one of the most effective tools for reducing the impact of breast cancer.

Salute in Comune is a complementary program to the National Health Service screening. The doctors involved carry out checks and important diagnostic tests to exclude pathologies related to carcinoma of the mammary gland.
Women between 20 and 39 are offered ultrasound scans, while women between 40 and 44 are given mammograms with follow up ultrasound scans.
The project is made possible thanks to the collaboration between Comitato Progetti Sociali ETS and the municipal administration with the support of local entrepreneurs.
